The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has said learning must be used to solve real problems and make life better for ordinary people.

The traditional ruler gave the charge while congratulating the founder of Stanel Group, Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, for completing executive leadership programmes at Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Oxford.

This is contained in a statement by Mr Uzochukwu’s Media Consultant, David Abakpa on Sunday in Abuja.

“The pursuit of knowledge is geared toward finding solutions to societal challenges and improving the lives of ordinary people,” the royal father said.

He added that the new training would help Mr Uzochukwu contribute more to the country.

He urged him to immediately deploy his newly acquired skill to strengthen governance, business innovation, and community growth.

“The newly acquired leadership training would further position the Stanel boss to make greater contributions in governance, business innovation, and community development,” he said.

The Ooni described Mr Uzochukwu as someone who values education and personal growth.

He urged him to put the knowledge to use without delay.

“As the world cannot wait for the deployment of the newly acquired knowledge, I wish to congratulate you once again and wish you success in your future endeavours,” he stated.

Mr Uzochukwu recently completed courses at Harvard Kennedy School, including High Performance Leadership, Emerging Leaders, and Leadership Decision Making.

He also finished the High Performance Leadership programme at the University of Oxford, London.
