Kogi Guber Poll: PDP, SDP agents protest alleged irregularities

Political agents of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) have protested against alleged fraud in the Kogi governorship election.
The party agents expressed their grievances at the ongoing state collation of results held at the state INEC headquarters in Lokoja.
The PDP agent, Abubakar Mahmood, and David Edibo, who represents the SDP, also raised the issue of overvoting during the election.
The party representatives presented separate petitions to the state electoral commission returning officer, Johnson Urama.
Kogi state held its off-cycle governorship elections on Saturday.
Approximately 1.9 million were registered for the polls across the 21 LGAs in the state.
