Kwankwaso’s son emerges as Kano NDC running mate to Gwarzo

Rabiu Kwankwaso, one of the sons of Musa Kwankwaso, the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general election, has been named as the running mate to Aminu Gwarzo for the Kano State governorship election.
Habibu Mohammed, the spokesman for Kwankwasiyya, confirmed the decision in a statement on Monday.
“HE Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo unveiled Hon Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as running mate for the 2027 governorship election,” he said.
Mr Kwankwaso served as commissioner for Youth and Sports under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf before resigning his appointment to join the NDC.
