Lagos Agberos clash with Alaba market traders

Hoodlums otherwise known as Agberos on Wednesday clashed with traders at Alaba International Market, Lagos.

The riot broke out after the traders resisted the Agberos’ illegal demand for money before they could transact their businesses in the market, Peoples Gazette learnt.

A viral video circulating of social revealed scores of youths wielding sticks and cudgels marching around the market to attack anything in sight.

Police spokesman in Lagos, Ben Hundeyin, said law enforcement officers have moved in to restore order in the area.
