The Lagos State ministry of wealth creation and employment has reaffirmed its commitment to tackling unemployment by ensuring access to decent work and enterprise opportunities to boost lives transformation.

The ministry’s permanent secretary, Lolade Aina, stated this at a strategic industry engagement with Workforce Consulting and Courier Logistics Ltd., at Alausa, Lagos.

Ms Aina said the engagement aimed at accelerating the delivery of its 100,000 Lives Strategic Framework.

“We are focused on building structured collaboration that will translate into expanded job opportunities, strengthened employability pathways, and sustainable income generation for Lagos residents,” she said.

Ms Aina emphasised that the ministry was deliberately shifting from policy conversations to measurable employment outcomes.

“The goal is clear impact. We are not just counting numbers; we are ensuring that lives are meaningfully transformed through access to decent work and enterprise opportunities.

“Strategic industry collaboration is critical to achieving this,” she stated.

Ms Aina noted that the ministry remains committed to aligning government initiatives with private sector capacity in order to close skills gaps, improve workforce readiness, and create scalable employment solutions across the state.

She added that the engagement underscored the ministry’s determination to move with urgency and precision in delivering on its mandate, reinforcing Lagos State’s position as a hub for opportunity, innovation, and economic empowerment.
