Lagos govt reschedules Ogudu-Oworonshoki bridge repairs

Mr Osiyemi said a new date for the repair works and traffic diversion would be announced.

The Lagos State government on Friday said traffic diversion for the repair of the Ogudu–Oworonshoki Bridge had been rescheduled.

The state commissioner for transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this in a statement.

Mr Osiyemi said a new date for the repair works and traffic diversion would be announced.

“The state government remains committed to ensuring public safety and minimal disruption during infrastructure upgrades.

“We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued cooperation,” he said.

The bridge repair was scheduled to start on May 13  and end on September 23.
