Lagos task force arrests 30 during raid of Agege black spots

The Lagos State Taskforce on Tuesday nabbed 30 suspected criminals during a routine enforcement operation of black spots in Agege.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Senior Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, in a statement on Wednesday, said the suspected criminals were apprehended at Isale Oja, AP Junction, and Railway line.
Mr Gawat said, “In continuation of the Lagos State Task Force Clean Up enforcement operation to rid the state of criminals, the agency set out at about 2200hrs on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, and embarked on its ongoing clean up enforcement operation in the state. The areas visited during the operation includes Isale Oja, Railways line, AP junction in Agege areas where the presence of some undesirable elements was noticed, particularly on the rail track. During the raid, a total number of 30 suspects were arrested and sanity was restored.’’
Mr Gawat noted that the suspects would be charged to court accordingly.
