Lagos to inaugurate roads, bridge in Alimosho Monday

The Lagos State Government is set to inaugurate completed road and bridge projects in Alimosho Local Government Area.
The roads are Babafemi Dada with Bridge, Yinka Folarin, Jamiu Lawal and Shalom Academy.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, said in a statement that the inauguration would be done on Monday.
The statement was made available to journalists on Sunday in Lagos.
He said, “It is important to mention that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu prioritised completion of projects in spite of the global economic meltdown and spiralling inflation. Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration has completed and has earmarked for inauguration 36 roads, five bridges and a pedestrian bridge to Lagosians.’’
Mr Omotoso said that the inauguration was part of the efforts of the state government to create sustainable communities, improve connectivity and provide effective bypass to areas experiencing gridlock.
The road network in Alimosho Local Government Area is a 1.57km long semi-rigid pavement road with 250m deck on pile bridge and will provide a shorter route for motorists connecting LASU-IBA Road (Idowu Egba Bus Stop) with Candos Road (Academy Bus Stop) in Baruwa community.
