The Lagos State University (LASU), Epe Campus, says it plans to inaugurate a 350-capacity University Information and Communication Technology Centre.

It also plans to break ground for a new Faculty of Engineering Complex.

The university disclosed this in a statement posted on its official social media platform on Saturday.

According to LASU, the programme will commence at 9:00 a.m. with the inauguration of the 350-capacity University ICT Centre.

It said this would be followed by a procession to the site of the proposed Faculty of Engineering Complex for the ground-breaking ceremony.

The university said the projects were part of ongoing developments aimed at expanding infrastructure and academic facilities at the Epe Campus.

It also announced the presentation of diplomas, first degrees, postgraduate diplomas and master’s degrees in engineering and agricultural sciences.

It said the awards, alongside the conferment of a Distinguished Professorship, would be held at the Olatunji Bello Auditorium, Epe Campus.

The activities form part of the university’s combined 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic sessions.

The university congratulated all graduands, parents, guardians, stakeholders and members of the university community on the combined 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies.
