Lawmaker congratulates Ikpea, Igbinedion on by-election victory

Neda Imasuen, representing the Edo South senatorial district, has congratulated APC candidates Joseph Ikpea and Omosede Igbinedion on their victory in the by-election.
According to a statement on Sunday by the senator, Mr Imasuen praised Ikpea’s resounding victory as the newly elected senator for the Edo Central senatorial district and Ms Igbinedion’s well-deserved win as the member-elect for Ovia federal constituency.
He described Ikpea as a multifaceted leader, counselor, advisor, investor, and expert in human capacity development.
He expressed confidence that Ikpea’s presence in the Senate would enhance quality representation and unlock new opportunities for the people of Edo Central.
Mr Imasuen commended Igbinedion’s legislative experience, gained from her previous tenure in the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019.
He noted that her return to the National Assembly was a testament to her resilience, vision, and commitment to the people of Ovia Federal Constituency.
Mr Imasuen celebrated the victories of Ikpea and Igbinedion as a renewed hope for the Edo people under the APC.
