Lawyer mourns late Emir of Gudi

A development advocate in Yobe,Kashim Musa-Tumsah, has described the late Emir of Gudi, Isa Bunuwa-Madugu, as a leader par excellence.
Mr Musa-Tumsah, a lawyer and diplomat, made this known in a statement in Damaturu on Saturday.
Mr Bunuwa-Madugu, 70, died on Thursday in Abuja after a brief illness.
The first class emir whose palace is located at Gadaka, Fika Local Government Area of the state, has since been buried in Gadaka, according to the Islamic rite.
Gov Mai Mala Buni earlier led the state government delegation to Bunuwa-Madugu’s funeral, where he prayed for the repose of the late emir’s soul.
Mr Musa-Tumsah, aka KMT, said the passing of the late emir was a monumental loss to the people of Gudi and the entire state.
“It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to the entire Gudi Emirate and the family of the late Emir.
“The late Emir was a true leader, a source of wisdom, guidance, and peace. His contributions to the progress and unity of his people will never be forgotten.
“He embodied the values of humility, service, and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him,” he said.
He charged the people of the state to reflect on the legacies of the late Emir and exemplary life.
“May Allah, in His infinite mercy, forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.
“We pray that the Almighty continues to guide and bless the people of Gudi in this trying time, and may the memory of the late Emir inspire us to live lives of integrity, compassion, and service to humanity,” Mr Musa-Tumsah said.
