Liverpool has highest EPL ticket resale price increase, Man City lowest: Report

Among the current English Premier League clubs, Liverpool has the highest matchday ticket resale price increase at 2,060 per cent.

English Premier League club Liverpool has the highest matchday ticket resale price increase at 2,060 per cent against cheapest ticket price while treble-winners and reigning champions Manchester City has the lowest with only 39 per cent increase.

The findings are results of an analysis conducted by experts at SeatPick.

Considering how difficult the process is to secure tickets for Premier League matches, fans most times pay hefty prices to get hold of resale tickets to be able to watch their favourite teams play.

According to the analysis, the cheapest ticket price for Liverpool home games is £9 and the difference between the cheapest ticket and average resale ticket is a whopping £185, amounting to 2,050 per cent. 

Bournemouth is second with the cheapest ticket available at £28 – the difference between cheapest ticket and average resale ticket for Bournemouth home games is £309, which is a 1,103 per cent increase.

Luton Town sits third in the rankings with 930 per cent increase – the cheapest home games ticket is £33 and the difference between the cheapest ticket and average resale ticket is £309.

Arsenal is fourth, with cheapest home ticket price at £29, the difference between the cheapest ticket and average resale ticket stands at £186, amounting to a 652 per cent increase.

Man United at 158 per cent, with cheapest home games ticket at £36, £57 as the difference between the cheapest ticket and average resale ticket sit 13th.

In 14th position, the cheapest ticket for Chelsea home games is £55, the difference between the cheapest ticket and average resale ticket being at £85, which is a 155 per cent average increase while Man City have the smallest increase in ticket resale price at only 39 per cent.

The cheapest ticket price for Man City home games is £58 while the difference between the cheapest ticket and average resale ticket £23.
