Liverpool scrape victory at home to Newcastle

Fabio Carvalho was the hero at Anfield as Liverpool secured came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Newcastle with the last kick of the game.
Newcastle started with new boy Aleksander Isak in front, taking just 38 minutes to announce his arrival, dribbling past Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez before slotting the ball into Alisson’s goal.
Isak had the ball in the back of the net again at the start of the second half, but it was ruled out for offside.
Minutes later, Klopp’s men equalised, Firmino putting the ball into the bottom corner after collecting a nice pass from Mohammed Salah.
Luiz Diaz tested Nick Pope twice as Liverpool searched for a winner, but it was substitute Fabio Carvalho who would find the back of the net from 3 yards after seven minutes of injury time, even though the referee had signalled for five.
Liverpool have now won back-to-back games while Newcastle lost for the first time this season.
