An Oyo State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Iwo Road area of Ibadan has granted N100,000 bail to a 37-year-old man, Suleiman Lateef, for alleged assault, malicious damage and conspiracy.

The defendant was arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy, assault and malicious damage.

Ms Raji said that the defendant must provide two reliable sureties in like sum, one of whom must be his blood relation, while the other must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.

She further said that one of the sureties must provide three years’ tax clearance, and the addresses of the sureties must be duly verified by the court registrar.

The magistrate then adjourned the case until October 16, for hearing.

She said that the defendant, who had been a habitual disturber of residents of Ashi area of Ibadan, committed the offences on June 27, at about 2:00p.m.
