Shaibu, whose address was not provided, is standing trial on a three-count charge of stealing, conduct likely and assault.
The Magistrate, A.O. Ogbe, ordered the remand of the defendant until May 29 for a review of the facts of the case and sentencing.
Earlier, the police prosecutor, Inspector Adegesin Famuyiwa, told the court that Shaibu committed the offences on May 6, at about 6.00 a.m., in front of the farm settlement along Sagamu Road, LASPOTECH area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
