Manchester City vs Bayern, Real to face Chelsea in Champions League quarter-finals
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have been drawn against German champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of this season’s UEFA Champions League.
City are chasing their first-ever Champions League trophy but will have to navigate past another German team in the knockouts if they will remain in contention after thrashing RB Leipzig 8-1 on aggregate in the last round.
Bayern Munich faced stiffer opposition in Paris Saint-Germain but still managed to win in France and Germany.
In other fixtures, defending champions Real Madrid will face struggling Chelsea.
Both teams met last season on the way to Real being crowned champions, with Chelsea left feeling unlucky after dominating both legs.
High-flying Napoli are paired with fellow Serie A side AC Milan.
Milan have not been in this stage of the competition in over a decade, while Napoli will be playing in the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history.
The final fixture to wrap up the quarter-finals is between Inter Milan and Portuguese side Benfica.
