Manchester City will train to recover points from every lost game: Guardiola

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has warned that his team will have to fight for every point if they are to finish as Premier League champions in the ongoing season.
Tottenham Hotspurs cut the lead at the top to six points courtesy of a 3-2 victory against City at the Etihad.
With less than a third of the season to go for the defending champions, Guardiola has come out to say his team must be willing to scrape for points so as to retain the title.
“We have to fight for every game and every game we are going to win we will be closer,” he told reporters.
“I said weeks ago we have to make a lot of points to be champions and this is what we will try to do.
“I think we performed well – honestly. I never said the title race was over. It’s normal. In January and February the teams at the bottom won their games because everyone fights for everything. It will be difficult. We know it.
“But it’s happened. We lost a game. We will recover with training sessions and prepare for the next game.”
Manchester City remain top of the premier league with 63 points from 26 games while their closest challengers, Liverpool, have 57 points from 25 games.
