Mr Aremu, who made the call during a group cycling event for youths in Ilorin metropolis on Thursday, said that Mr Tinubu deserved the support of the citizenry.

He said that Mr Tinubu had demonstrated rare courage to enthrone change through bold and inevitable reforms.
“You can agree or disagree with his policy choices, but you cannot doubt President Bola Tinubu’s business-unusual policies.
“These policies are aimed to reposition the country in accordance with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” he said.
The MINILS D-G, expressed confidence that the National Assembly would offer an open platform to improve on the content of the tax bills.
“Those opposing the reforms in the nation’s tax administration should proceed to the National Assembly to express their views,” he said.
Mr Aremu urged the president to accompany his tax reform policies with strategies that would re-industrialise Nigeria, create jobs and eradicate poverty
He said that MINILS would soon engage the presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms to highlight the benefits of the proposed bills.
The D-G urged the organised labour and employers of labour to partner the federal government in ensuring the payment of sustainable wages to workers.
“A wage-led economic recovery plan, backed by improved productivity is indispensable for sustainable development,” he said.
