ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE DEMISE OF HAJIYA DAYYABA, MOTHER OF THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT
The Federal Ministry of Environment regrets to announce the passing of Hajiya Dayyaba, beloved mother of the Honourable Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas Lawal.
She passed away on Saturday, 9th November 2025, in Zaria, Kaduna State, following a brief illness.
The Janazah (funeral prayer) will take place on Monday, 10th November 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Bambale, Zaria City.
May Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings, grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, envelop her in His infinite mercy, and bestow upon her family the fortitude and patience to bear this profound loss. Ameen.
