Mohbad’s autopsy results ready in four weeks: Official
The Director of the Lagos State Forensic Department, Richard Somiari, has said the awaited autopsy report for the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, will be ready in four weeks.
He stated this at a coroner’s inquest held on Wednesday to investigate the singer’s death.
According to Vanguard, Somiari told the Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi that the forensic department anticipated receiving the initial autopsy findings within three to four weeks, validating and authenticating the cause of death through further confirmation.
“We expected to get the first set of autopsy results in three to four weeks and re-confirm to authenticate the cause of the death,” he said.
He further said, “We searched for multiple possibilities, to check if poison was involved in the death of Mohbad since no actual cause was mentioned.”
He assured that they had a place where items were stored for safety and security of results.
The Gazette reported in 2023 that Mohbad died on September 12 and there have been several news issues surrounding his death but no particular cause of the death has been identified
