Morocco 2026: Flamingos beat Guinea, zoom into final qualifying round

Flamingos on Sunday at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State, scored six goals against their Guinean counterparts, to win 11-0 on aggregate and advance to the next qualifying round of the 2026 Under-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Flamingos who won 5-0, in the first leg last Saturday, in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, didn’t hold back despite goals from six players. Five of the goals were scored in the 34th minute of the first half.
Oluwakemi Adegbuyi, opened scoring in the 9th minute, followed by the first leg hat trick hero Harmony Chidi, in the 21st minute, Queen Joseph in the 23rd minute, Oluwakemi Adegbuyi, in the 32nd minute, Harmony Chidi, in the 34th minute, and Precious Oscar in the 70th minute.
The Flamingos, coached by Akeem Busari, have, with the victory, set up a third and final qualifying round tie against Benin Republic, with the first leg scheduled for between July 3 and 5, and the second leg to hold between July 10 and 12.
The winner, on aggregate goals, will secure a spot at the tournament billed for Morocco, from October 17 to November 7.
