Morocco’s attacking star Brahim Díaz has won the Puma Golden Boot at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco.

The Atlas Lions striker finished the tournament as the leading scorer. Díaz had five goals, though not enough to get Morocco the coveted Nations Cup trophy.

The Real Madrid forward scored Morocco’s opener in a 2-0 win against Comoros, followed by a goal in a 1-1 draw with Mali.

He then scored a brace against Zambia to secure Morocco’s victory. Díaz continued the streak in the knockout rounds, scoring against Tanzania in the round of 16 and Cameroon in the quarter-finals.
