Multiple victims in U.S. church shooting; ‘shooter down’, police say

A shooter invaded the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Michigan, U.S., on Sunday, opening fire that left some injured.
The Grand Blanc Township Police Department, in a Facebook post confirming the incident, announced “the shooter is down.”
“There has been an active shooter at the church of Latter-day Saints on McCandlish Rd. There are multiple victims, and the shooter is down. There is no threat to the public at this time,” the statement reads.
Warning the public to avoid the area, the police said, “The church is actively on fire. For people on site, the reunification site is the pavilion to the north. Offsite reunification will be at Trillium Theatre at Holly and McCandlish.”
