Musical artiste Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, better known as Mohbad, on Wednesday, alleged that he was brutalised by members of Marlian record label owned by Nigerian music superstar, Afeez Fashola ‘Naira Marley’.

Mohbad, signed to the record label claimed he was assaulted for daring to demand that his manager be changed.

He shared the video of the assault on his Twitter handle.

“Just because I want to change my manager which is their brother, see what they did to me at Marlian House,” Mohbad said on Wednesday in a tweet that has continued to drawn sympathy and anger from music fans.

The street-hop artist later shared a seven seconds video of himself where he was decked in a white singlet with injuries and bruises on all his body.

While noting that he wasn’t drunk when the incident happened, Mohbad quickly said that the Marlian team might decide to use that as an excuse against him.

“I’m not high oo cos that’s what Dey always say just to die down everything,” he added.

In February 2022, Mohbad raised the alarm over an alleged threat to his life by Naira Marley during his ordeal with the anti-narcotic agency – the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Mohbad and another musical artiste Zinoleesky were arrested by the NDLEA over possession of illicit drugs.
