The deputy speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muhammad Oyanki, has urged residents and Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027.

Mr Oyanki, who represents Doma North, made the call during a meeting with a forum of political appointees from Doma LGA.

He also called for support for Governor Abdullahi Sule’s preferred governorship candidate, Aliyu Wadada, and the All Progressives Congress to ensure victory.

He said delivering APC at the polls would enable residents to enjoy more dividends of democracy beyond 2027.

Mr Oyanki explained that he convened the meeting to foster unity and discuss the way forward for the party’s progress and development in the area.

“This meeting is to unite us and discuss the progress of the APC and Doma LGA. As deputy speaker, I have represented my people well and performed my duties to the best of my ability. I urge us to work together and tirelessly to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Aliyu Wadada, and the APC in the 2027 general elections,” he stated.

Mr Oyanki added that Messrs Tinubu and Sule had performed well across key sectors of the economy. He urged the people of Doma LGA and the state to support Mr Wadada, Mr Sule’s preferred APC governorship aspirant, in 2027 general elections.

Responding, Ibrahim Dahiru, special adviser on education to Mr Sule and leader of the delegation, thanked the deputy speaker for initiating the meeting and prayed for his continued success.

Mr Dahiru also called on the people of the area to support Mr Sule’s administration.
