NASRDA DG pledges commitment to Nigeria’s digital transformation

The National Space Research and Development Agency has expressed its commitment to ensuring digital governance in the country.
Matthew Adepoju, NASRDA director-general, said this while receiving the ‘Best Federal Ministry, Department and Agency Digital Governance Award’ at the Nigeria GovTech Gala and Awards in Abuja on Friday. Mr Adepoku also received the ‘Distinguished GovTech Trailblazers Award’.
Mr Adepoju said Nigerians were beginning to appreciate more space science and technology activities in the country.
Mr Adepoju said the agency had introduced some initiatives to enhance processes, which would culminate in a growing space science ecosystem.
Esuabana Nko-Asanye, permanent secretary at the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, while congratulating NASRDA, said the ministry was working to ensure that the Federal Government’s digital transformation agenda was met.
The event was organised by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms to recognise MDAs, private companies, stakeholders, and individuals who had been outstanding in digital governance.
