NDC postpones national campaign council inauguration to October 26

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has postponed the unveiling and inauguration of its national campaign council from October 20 to October 26.
The party announced the postponement in a statement on Monday in Abuja by its national publicity secretary, Osa Director.
Mr Director attributed the extension to the tight schedule of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who has an important engagement overseas.
He apologised for any inconvenience caused by the postponement.
Mr Director also urged party members and supporters to remain focused on its electoral objectives ahead of the forthcoming presidential and general elections.
The national publicity secretary expressed the party’s commitment to securing victory for Mr Obi and all its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
