Nigerians will re-elect Tinubu in 2027, says Tompolo

The founder of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has said that Nigerians would reelect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Mr Ekpemupolo stated this on Sunday in Kano, where he was represented by Emomotimi Guwor, speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, and chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that Mr Tinubu would win across the states by securing at least 70 per cent of the votes.

He said that the growing support for Mr Tinubu was driven by his bold economic reforms and infrastructure development across the country.

Mr Ekpemupolo cited the removal of the fuel subsidy and ongoing infrastructure projects, including the rail project and the Abuja – Kaduna – Kano gas pipeline (AKK) project, as initiatives attracting public support for the administration.

“The president is doing excellent work. That is why you can see that all the state governors are supporting President Bola Tinubu.

“A lot has been done, and you can see that he is very bold with his economic reforms. Good things attract people,” he said.

He said the level of support for the administration across the northern states indicated that the president’s policies were gaining acceptance.

Mr Ekpemupolo said the Delta State governor’s defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) was also motivated by the need to work with the federal government to develop the state.

He said he was confident Nigerians would support Tinubu in the presidential election scheduled for January 16, 2027.

“I am convinced that come January 16, the people of Nigeria will speak in a loud voice in supporting the president to return, to continue his reform, and I know very well that he’s going to win,” he said.

He said that the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement would establish structures across the northern and southern states to mobilise grassroots support for President Tinubu.

The movement, he said, had positioned coordinators and ambassadors at the unit level to engage residents and communicate the administration’s policies directly to households.

“Our plan is that every door will be knocked and every home will be reached so that people can give their massive support to the president,” he said.
