A video footage captured by the CCTV camera revealed how the actor defiled the 14-year-old victim, who in her statement claimed his sexual assault towards her started seven years ago.
Baba Ijesha has confessed to the crime, police said.
Police spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi said the case has been transferred to the gender unit of the State Criminal and Investigation Department for a more detailed investigation.
