Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has been hospitalised after surviving a ghastly motorcycle accident on a movie set with her colleague, Victory Michael, a few days before her birthday.

The actress took to her social media platforms in a video clip to express gratitude to God, who made it possible for her to narrowly escape death.

The actress said she came close to death, saying that life is “very fragile”.

“Life is very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said no. If you see an actor today, hug them. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you, God,” she wrote.

The video clip showed Ms Oko shooting a bike scene with her colleague, Michael, when the bike rammed into a pole in Lagos.

Mr Michael hit his chest on the pole and lost consciousness briefly, while Ms Oko broke a leg.
