North-West APC vows massive votes for Tinubu, adopts ‘campaign of facts’

The North-West zone of the All Progressives Congress has pledged to sustain its record of delivering the highest bloc votes for the party’s presidential candidate and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The position was noted in a communiqué issued after the zone’s maiden meeting, held at its zonal secretariat in Kaduna.
The meeting, the first since the APC zonal congress of March 25, was chaired by the national vice-chairman (North-West), Garba Datti Muhammad.
According to the communiqué signed by the zonal publicity secretary, Musa Mailafiya Mada, deliberations centred on strategies to consolidate the zone’s standing as the leading contributor of votes to presidential candidates since 1999.
The communiqué stated that members resolved to collaborate with critical stakeholders across the zone to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and the seven APC governors in the North-West, as well as the party’s national and state assembly candidates in 2027.
It added that the Garba Datti-led zonal executive adopted a “campaign of facts” as its advocacy model to promote the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.
The approach, it noted, would highlight achievements recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and security, including projects executed by the North West Development Commission.
The zone also pledged to sustain internal cohesion, maintain the prevailing peaceful atmosphere within the party, and proactively address emerging challenges ahead of the elections.
It further expressed readiness to counter what it described as misinformation from opposition parties aimed at undermining the APC’s image.
Those in attendance included newly elected and returning zonal officers such as zonal secretary Isah Sadiq Achida, zonal legal adviser Bashir Usaini Dutse, and zonal organising secretary Salisu Uba Tsafe.
Others are zonal youth leader Abdulhamid Umar Ahmed; zonal women leader Hadiza Alhaji; zonal leader of persons living with disabilities, Dahiru Gambo Rafin Dadi; and zonal publicity secretary, Musa Mailafiya Mada.
