Notorious bandit Kachalla Na’Allah shot dead in Sokoto

Combined security operatives have neutralised notorious bandit Kachalla Na’Allah in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State, during efforts to dismantle bandit networks.
A security source confirmed this to journalists on Saturday in Sokoto that Mr Na’Allah was shot dead on Friday during a coordinated security operation.
“The suspect was intercepted and neutralised between Girnashe and Kuka Tara villages, under Tsabre Ward of Isa Local Government Area,” the source said.
The source said a joint team of mobile police and community guards, supported by the Army, carried out the successful operation.
Mr Na’Allah was reported to be a cousin of notorious bandit kingpin Ibrahim Chimmo, who is believed to operate within the Sububu Forest.
“The operation represents another step in disrupting the leadership and operational structure of banditry in the region,” the source added.
Troops of the Nigerian Army’s 8 Division recently neutralised another bandit kingpin, Kachalla Kallamu, in Sabon Birnin Local Government Area.
The special adviser to Governor Ahmad Aliyu on security matters, Col. Ahmad Usman (rtd), commended security agencies for the sustained successes against banditry.
