NSCDC deploys surveillance drone to boost security in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, has conducted a successful test run of a newly deployed surveillance drone to enhance security operations.
The state commandant, Mohammed Hassan-Agalama, made this known in a statement by the public relations officer, SC Ibrahim Idris-Abdullahi, on Friday in Kano.
The state commandant conducted the test at the command headquarters.
Mr Hassan-Agalama said that the deployment of the drone would significantly improve operational efficiency and environmental surveillance across the state.
He assured residents that the initiative was not intended to cause panic but to strengthen intelligence gathering and security operations.
The commandant urged the people of Kano to support the corps by providing the necessary cooperation to ensure effective service delivery.
He appreciated the commandant-general of the NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar-Audi, for facilitating the deployment of the surveillance equipment.
