Mr Idris-Abdullahi said that the suspect, who hails from Layin Tankin Magi, Kura Local Government Area of the state, was apprehended by the operatives of the corps attached to Garun Malam Divisional Office during midnight patrols.

“The suspect was arrested while vandalising transformer fittings and an electric pole at Dakasoye Village, in the Garun Malam Local Government Area,” he said.

He said that items recovered from the suspect included eight iron rods, three PHCN insulators, 43 quarter rods, three long nuts, an aluminium rod, hammer and a chisel.
