NSCDC Ogun gets new commandant

Remilekun Ekundayo has assumed office as the new commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ogun command.
Dyke Ogbonnaya said in a statement in Abeokuta on Saturday, that Mrs Ekundayo would be the 12th commandant of the command.
While receiving the instrument of office from the outgoing Commandant, Assistant Commandant – General (ACG), David Ekundayo, she commended the infrastructure at the command.
She lauded the outgoing commandant for his strides, dedication and commitment to service while directing NSCDC Ogun command.
Mrs Ekundayo reiterated that the command would not relent in protecting national assets and the lives and property of the citizens.
“I promised to consolidate on the predecessor’s achievement and work with other security agencies to actualise a crime-free state,” the new commandant said.
The new commandant commissioned a tactical operational base at The Inter-Change, Sagamu built by V-Peg Energy and Gas company, as one of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects.
The base is to help the command in the effective monitoring of Sagamu and its environs.
