NUC accredits 10 programmes at Federal University Dutse

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited 10 programmes at Federal University Dutse (FUD), Jigawa.
This was announced in a statement issued by FUD spokesperson Abdullahi Yahaya on Tuesday.
Mr Yahaya said the programme accreditation approval was communicated to the institution’s vice-chancellor, Abdulkarim Mohammed, in a letter signed by the NUC’s acting director of accreditation, Abraham Chundusu.
According to him, the programmes with full accreditation include the Master in Public Policy and Administration, Fisheries, English, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Criminology and Security Studies, and Political Science, while Cyber Security was given interim accreditation.
The vice-chancellor thanked NUC for accrediting the programmes. Mr Mohammed also commended the university’s management and staff for making the positive results possible.
He said all hands must be on the deck to maintain the standard attained.
