OFFICIAL: Lukaku signs for Chelsea in five-year deal

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has signed a five year deal with English Premier League side Chelsea.
The London side disclosed Lukaku’s return to the club from in a statement on Thursday.
Lukaku, 28, first signed for the London side in 2011 but left the club in 2014.
“One of the most prolific strikers in European football, Lukaku has returned to the club he supported as a young boy and where he has unfinished business, having been on our books between 2011 and 2014,” Chelsea said in the statement.
“The Belgian has signed a five-year contract and will add attacking firepower to Thomas Tuchel’s squad of European champions.”
Lukaku, who was named Serie A top scorer last season, netted 24 goals and made eleven assist to help Inter Milan clinch first league title in 11 years.
Speaking on his return to Stamford Bridge in the statement, Lukaku said returning to Chelsea is best for his career.
“I’m happy and blessed to be back at this wonderful club,” said Lukaku.
“It’s been a long journey for me: I came here as a kid who had a lot to learn, now I’m coming back with a lot of experience and more mature.”
“The way the club is going fits my ambitions perfectly at 28 and just coming off winning Serie A.
I think this opportunity comes at the right time and hopefully we can have a lot of success together,” Lukaku added.
