Ohanaeze celebrates Bianca Ojukwu at 58

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has felicitated with foreign affairs minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu on her 58th birthday, hailing her outstanding service to Nigeria.

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has felicitated with foreign affairs minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu on her 58th birthday, hailing her outstanding service to Nigeria.

The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation said this in a birthday message signed and issued by its spokesman, Ezechi Chukwu, on Wednesday.

The group lauded the minister’s distinguished career and contributions to national development and diplomacy.

It noted that Ms Odumegwu-Ojukwu had consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and patriotism throughout her career, having served as a lawyer, diplomat and former ambassador before her current appointment.

Ohanaeze highlighted her achievements as a former Miss Nigeria, Miss Africa and Miss Intercontinental, describing her career trajectory as an inspiration to Ndigbo, Nigerian women and the younger generation.

According to the gorup, Ms Odumegwu-Ojukwu has remained committed to promoting Nigeria’s interests on the global stage through dedicated and exemplary public service.

“Her remarkable journey remains a source of pride and inspiration to Ndigbo, Nigerian women and the younger generation,” the statement said.

Ohanaeze’s president-general, Azuta Mbata, described the minister as an embodiment of the values for which the Igbo nation was renowned.

“She embodies the resilience, dignity, brilliance and excellence for which the Igbo nation is renowned.

“As she celebrates her 58th birthday, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide rejoices with her and prays that Almighty God will continue to grant her wisdom, sound health, and greater strength to serve Nigeria and humanity with distinction,” Mr Mbata had said.
