Ondo Council of Obas condoles with Akeredolu over mother’s death
The Ondo State Council of Obas has commiserated with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu over the demise of his mother Evangelist Grace Akeredolu.
In a statement on Saturday in Akure, Chairman of the Council of Obas, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, the Deji of Akureland, said the deceased lived an accomplished life.
“Mama Grace Akeredolu was a great woman by all ramifications. To have raised glorious and successful children like the governor, who fulfilled destiny and made it in her lifetime, was no mean task,” he said.
The Deji described Mama Akeredolu as a devout Christian who loved her children and family, and enjoined the governor and the family not to mourn like those without hope.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased, who died Thursday at the age of 90.
