One killed, four bikes recovered as troops raid Katsina terrorist hideout

Troops of Fansan Yamma have killed a suspected terrorist member and recovered four motorcycles, including other items during a dawn offensive operation in the Dan Musa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The media information officer for Fansan Yamma, Aliyu Danja, said the operation was carried out on Friday.
Mr Danja stated, “Acting on credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the general area of Yantumaki Forest, troops conducted a coordinated offensive against the terrorists.”
He noted that troops engaged the terrorists with maximum firepower, forcing them to flee into the surrounding bushes.
“During the operation of the area, troops confirmed the neutralisation of one terrorist and recovered four motorcycles, one mobile phone and five empty intravenous drip containers, suspected to have been used in the treatment of wounded terrorists,” Mr Danja said.
