Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has fixed September 28, 2026, for the start of the 2026-27 academic activities, and slated to end on July 2, 2027.

In a draft academic calendar released on Monday, the OOU said lectures for the “harmattan semester” will begin on October 12, 2026, while examinations will take place from February 1 to 12, 2027.

According to school management, lectures for the “rain semester” will begin on March 1, 2027, and examinations will be held from June 14 to 25, 2027.

Registration for fresh students will begin on September 28; returning students will start on October 5, and the deadline for fee payments and the closing of registration for all students is November 13, 2026.

The school noted that orientation activities for fresh students in the university, colleges, facilities and departments will be held from November 16 to 20, 2026, while matriculation for fresh students will be held on November 24, 2026.
