Oshiomhole celebrates 69th birthday week after Tinubu

Adams Oshiomhole, former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, marks his 69th birthday a week after Bola Tinubu celebrated the same age.
The APC put out a statement celebrating the ex-national chairman who turns 69 on Sunday.
The statement was signed by the Chairman of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, and was released via the party’s twitter handle.
The statement read, “The APC heartily felicitates with H.E. Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole on his 69th birthday anniversary on Sunday April 4th, 2021.”
The statement issued on Saturday night noted the service of Mr Oshiomhole since his time as National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Governor of Edo State.
Mr Oshiomhole was booted out of office via legal manoeuvre in June 2020 amid much acrimony and allegations of high-handedness in handling party matters.
Mr Oshiomhole had previously served as the President of Nigeria Labour Congress from 1999 to 2007 and as the governor of Edo State between 2008 and 2016.
His celebration comes after Mr Tinubu turned 69 last week, drawing criticism and speculations as to his purported age.
In the midst of felicitations pouring in from political and business players, the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made a tweet, celebrating Mr Tinubu’s age at 64, the tweet has since been deleted, adding to the speculation about his age.
