Osimhen, Moffi ranked among five best strikers in world
Super Eagles and SSC Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been ranked as the fourth-best striker in Europe’s big leagues, according to Italian media outfit Corriere Dello Sport.
Osimhen has scored seven goals in eight league games this season, averaging a goal every 90 minutes, despite missing five weeks due to a hamstring injury.
The other strikers rated higher are Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and PSG’s Kylian Mbappe.
Haaland signed for Manchester City in the summer and has scored 17 goals in just 11 matches in the Premier League.
At the same time, Lewandowski is the top scorer in La Liga, notching up 13 goals in 12 games since signing from Bayern Munich.
Completing the top five is another Nigerian striker Terem Moffi who has scored eight goals in 12 Ligue 1 matches.
Moffi averages a goal every 108 minutes for Lorient, who sits fourth on the table.
