The Osun Indigenes in Diaspora have reaffirmed their support for President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, vowing to mobilise for his re-election in the 2027 general elections.

The group’s youth and political mobilisation coordinator, Olufemi Abayomi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

Mr Abayomi appealed to eligible Osun indigenes living abroad who vote in the state to obtain their permanent voter cards (PVCs) ahead of the polls.

He said the organisation remained convinced that Mr Tinubu’s economic reforms would deliver long-term benefits for Nigerians despite the initial hardships experienced by citizens.

According to him, the group stands firmly behind the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda because of his visionary leadership and commitment to national development.

He said, “We have endured the pains of the reforms together, and we are beginning to reap the rewards of our endurance.

“As we look towards the 2027 general elections, I call on every Osun indigene in the diaspora to vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to enable him to complete his vision of a greater and more rewarding future for our country.”

Mr Abayomi appealed to the diaspora members to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun, Bola Oyebamiji, in the August 15 election.

“I encourage every Osun indigene in the diaspora who usually casts votes in Osun State to get a voter’s card before the deadline and vote for a credible candidate, Ambassador Munurudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO),” he said.

The youth leader said the state required purposeful leadership to address challenges in the economy, infrastructure and education.

“We need to fix the economy, infrastructure and educational sectors.

“I have engaged in door-to-door communication and mobilisation of Osun indigenes in the diaspora to come home and ensure that their votes count in the 2027 elections.

“I urge you to get your voter’s card and vote for credible candidates,” Mr Abayomi said.
