OsunDecides: Ex-governor Aregbesola loses polling unit to APC

A former governor of Osun State and national secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, lost his polling unit to Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress candidate in Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.
At polling unit 001, Cooperative Building Junction, Isare, Ward 08, Ilesa East Local Government Area, Mr Oyebamiji secured 256 votes while ADC governorship candidate Najeem Salaam secured only 13 votes.
Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, who is seeking re-election, polled 43 votes.
Other results are still being announced and uploaded to the Result Viewing Portal (IReV) from polling centres across the state’s 30 local government areas.
