OsunDecides: INEC uploads 76.06% of election results to IReV
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded results from 2,862 of the 3763 polling units to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV) for Saturday’s governorship election held across the 30 Local Government Areas of Osun State.
Recall that the Peoples Gazette earlier reported that the commission had begun uploading results of the election on its portal.
Checks by the Gazette showed that the uploaded results represent 76.06 per cent of all polling units in the Osun State governorship election as of 7:17 p.m.
The election featured 15 political parties, including Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, and 14 other aspirants.
Additional election results are still being processed and uploaded to the portal as collation and electronic transmission continue across the state.
