The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has secured the conviction of over 60 Internet fraudsters in Oyo.

The Yahoo Boys were arraigned and prosecuted by the anti-graft agency before the Ibadan Division of the Oyo State between September 5 and 21.

They were charged with separate one-count charges bordering on cyber crimes and sentenced to various jail terms ranging from two weeks to 10 months. 

Their properties were to be forfeited to the federal government.
