The Oyo State House of Assembly has described the speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin, as a visionary leader whose tenure has elevated legislative governance and strengthened democratic institutions, congratulating him on his 39th birthday.

A statement by the chairman of the House Committee on Information, Media, ICT and Public Affairs, Waheed Akintayo.

Mr Akintayo said that the leadership of the speaker brought about significant gains in legislative practice, strengthened collaboration with other arms of government and enhanced public trust in the legislature.

He explained that Mr Ogundoyin’s rare blend of youthful energy and administrative competence has not only inspired fellow lawmakers but also positioned the assembly as a progressive and responsive institution.

“His ability to combine youthful energy with administrative depth has inspired colleagues and set a shining example for emerging leaders in public service,” he said.

The committee chairman explained further that Mr Ogundoyin’s skills and dedication to service demonstrate unwavering commitment to the progress and development of the pacesetter state.

“His vision and passion have been instrumental in driving meaningful changes in the assembly. We praise his humility, accountability and ability to build consensus across political divides, a quality described as critical to the assembly’s success and relevance in today’s governance landscape,” he added.

Mr Akintayo expressed confidence that the years ahead would usher in even greater accomplishments as the speaker continues to lead with integrity, vision and unwavering commitment to the progress of the state.

“Happy 39th birthday to a distinguished parliamentarian and an exemplary leader,” Mr Akintayo said.
