Oyo police hunt abductors of four passengers along Igbeti-Kishi road

The police command in Oyo State has said four passengers were abducted along Igbeti-Kishi road, Oke-Ogun axis of the state.
The command spokesman, Ayanlade Olayinka, stated this to journalists on Thursday.
Mr Olayinka noted that coordinated search and rescue efforts had commenced to trail the suspects behind the act.
“Four persons have been confirmed abducted along the Igbeti-Kishi Road,” Mr Olayinka said.
“Coordinated search and rescue efforts are currently underway, with security operatives combing the surrounding areas and intensifying intelligence gathering to track down the suspects,” the spokesman said.
Responding to the incident, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Femi Haruna, directed the heads of the divisional stations in Kishi and Igbeti areas of the state, to work with other tactical teams, in a bid to ensure the victims’ safe return.
The command appealed to members of the public to remain calm and assist with any useful information that could help in the ongoing rescue operations.
