PDP Guber Primary: Bayelsa deputy governor heads Ondo election committee

Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo of Bayelsa has been appointed head of the Ondo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary scheduled for Thursday.
This was announced in a statement on Wednesday in Akure by Kennedy Peretei, Ondo PDP spokesman.
The Sam Egwu screening committee had cleared seven governorship aspirants to participate in the primary election.
According to the statement, 627 delegates from the state’s 18 local government areas will elect the party’s governorship flag bearer at the International Culture and Events Centre in Akure.
It stated that accreditation of delegates would commence at 10:00 a.m.
The party warned that people who were not delegates or had no meaningful business at the venue should keep a reasonable distance from the venue.
The governorship election in Ondo will be held on November 16.
